About Us
All Points Camping NZ Club is a national organisation providing support for all campers in New Zealand.
Our aim is to support and promote a responsible and sustainable camping industry for the present and into the future so that our children and future generations can enjoy the many benefits that camping provides
We advocate for all types of camping. We do this through developing relationships with central government and local authorities and working collaboratively with other camping organisations and the wider camping industry.
Family membership: An All Points Camping membership includes an individual or couple and any dependent children.
All Points camping offers:
- Advice and support for all campers and all types of camping
- Affordable, family-friendly camping events. You don’t have to be a member to join an All Points event
- Savings and discounts for members
- Lobbying for campers’ rights
- Access to information about self-containment and changes to camping legislation and regulations
- Camping the Kiwi Way quarterly magazine. This is available on-line and you can subscribe to receive printed copies
- Recommended Stop and Stay locations. We don’t own or lease camping properties. Rather we prefer to support and promote existing property owners and camping sites
- An on-line shop that sells a range of camping themed merchandise.
All Points promotes inclusive, responsible,
sustainable and affordable camping
APCNZ stands for many things camping related.
Firstly, we are inclusive of ALL forms of camping (tents to motorhomes and everything in-between).
We stand for responsible camping. This means, be a responsible camper, be tidy, do not make or leave a mess (pack in, pack out) and be considerate of the other campers around you.
We stand for sustainable camping. We respect and protect the camping areas now available to us. By looking after what we have, we stand a better chance of retaining it for us and future generations. We all want our children and grandchildren to be able to enjoy the camping experiences we have had and continue to have.
We stand for affordable camping. In organising events we try and keep the costs as low as we can to make them affordable, especially for families.

The Club was formed in December 2015 by a group of concerned campers who wanted an organisation that represented the interests of all members New Zealand’s broad camping community. Their goal in setting up APCNZ was to provide support and a voice for the general camping community. They also wanted to foster a balanced camping industry in New Zealand.
The All Points Camping Club of NZ is an incorporated society. The Club has a committee, regional representatives and events, communication and administration teams.

APCNZ's Structure
APCNZ Committee
The Club committee is elected from current financial members during the Annual General Meeting.
The committee has established three teams: Administration, Events and Communication.
The role of committee members is to assist the Club, provide support to its members and promote the Club in a positive manner. This may involve:
- supporting and assisting in all areas of club activity
- supporting and assisting regional representatives in their role
- formulating Club policy
- providing support and advice to club members.
Administration Team
The Administration team is made up of the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Immediate Past-President. It makes the day-to-day decisions about the running of the Club and reports each month to the committee.
Regional Representatives
The Club has thirteen regional areas – Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Taranaki, Hawkes Bay, Central, Marlborough, Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago and Southland.
A network of regional representative provide support to local members, promote the Club locally and organise and host local club camps and events. A regional representative must live in the region they represent.
A region can have more than one regional representative, and this is encouraged for the larger regions. Some regions have informal sub-committees to assist the regional representative(s) with their role.
Regional reps are appointed by the committee. A committee member can also act as a regional representative. Regional representatives are responsible to the committee.
